Ales Zivkovic MSc (TA Psych) PTSTA(P) will be holding an online talk about Group Dynamics and Identity as part of regular seminars organised by The Berne Institute.

The talk will take place online on 14 May 2020 from 4pm-6pm BST.

It will look into how our identity is influenced by the groups we engage in and how this affects the way we relate to others. Some of the topics that will be covered are:

  • How is our sense of identity influenced by the groups that we are part of (e.g. cultures, organisations, other groups);
  • How do groups affect individual’s frame of reference;
  • How groups influence the way we interact as individuals;
  • Implications for psychotherapy, organisational and cultural settings.

The topic will be looked at using transactional analysis concepts as framework for integration of psychodynamic and social psychology theory, research and practice.
